The first section shows importing screeners from the Investors’ Library. The Investors’ Library is a repository for investment research resources, including an extensive collection of screeners that cover many different investment strategies.
The second shows importing a screener that was previously exported from Stock Rover. If you have many screeners or many iterations of a screener, you can save the screeners offline for later import and use.
The Investors’ Library is a repository for investment research resources, including an extensive collection of screeners that cover many different investment strategies.
To import screeners from the Investors’ Library:
Selecting ‘Browse Screener Library’ brings you directly to the Screeners section of the Investor’s Library.
The Screeners panel populates with the list of the available screeners in the Library. To sort the screeners by name, creator, or creation date simply click on the column headers. Screeners that are greyed have already been imported.
When a screener is selected from the Investor’s Library, the screener’s description and criteria appear in the lower panel. Please note the importing of multiple screeners simultaneously is supported.
Clicking ‘Import’ loads the screener(s) into the Navigation Panel. If you change an imported screener’s criteria and later want to revert to the original reimporting the screener overwrites your changes.
There are four ways to import a screener that was previously exported from Stock Rover.
Right-clicking on ‘Screeners’ in the Start Menu on the left-hand side.
Right-clicking on ‘Screeners’ in the Navigation panel and selecting ‘Import Screener’.
Selecting ‘Import Screener’ under Screener Actions.
Searching for ‘Import Screener’ in the Search bar.
While in the Import Screener window, click on ‘Browse’ to search for the screener file to import.
Once a screener file is selected, the screener’s name, description, and screening criteria are displayed.
Clicking ‘Import’ adds the screener to your account and then runs it.
If you change the imported screener’s criteria and later want to revert to the original, reimporting the screener overwrites your changes with the original screener criteria.
The example below shows the results of a newly imported Dividend Growth screener loaded into the Table.
