You can update Trade Bundles with The Trade Evaluator. Updating a Trade Bundle encompasses adding new trades, modifying existing trades and deleting trades from a Trade Bundle.
We can add trades to a Trade Bundle either by entering them directly or by importing them.
Below we can see the Enter Trade window, where can enter the Ticker symbol, the Date, the Type (Buy or Sell), and the Quantity. The Price will default to the close price of the date selected or current price if today’s date is selected, the price can also be edited. We can also enter any trading fees.
Once we have entered the trade, we can click on ‘Add’ to add another trade or ‘Add and Finish’ if we have entered all our trades for the date selected.
Note: The Total Amount is calculated when we enter Price and Quantity. However as we we below when we enter Price and Total Amount, Stock Rover calculates the Quantity.
The Import option allows us to import using the trades from an existing Stock Rover Portfolio or from an external .CSV or .XLSX file that we have populated with trades.
This option allows you to quickly update the Trade Bundle with trades from a Stock Rover Portfolio.
Once completed, we can click on ‘Add Trades’.
Note: A popup will show indicating the number of trades imported, and whether there were any duplicate trades. Note that duplicate trades will not be imported.
This option allows you to quickly update the Trade Bundle with either a .CSV or .XLSX file containing trades.
The .CSV or .XLSX file must contain a row for each trade and a title row containing the headings:
Ticker, Date, Action, Quantity, Price, Fees
Each trade row contains:
