Mobile Experience

Introduction

Stock Rover comes with a Mobile UI that has been specifically optimized for phones and tablets. The Mobile UI is available to Stock Rover Premium and Premium Plus subscribers.

When you first log into Stock Rover with your phone or tablet, the “Choose Your Experience” page will display options for choosing the Mobile Experience or Desktop Experience.

Mobile Experience

The Mobile Experience includes the features and functionality most needed when mobile. This experience allows for for the viewing of the Dashboard as well as the searching for and researching of a ticker. You can also modify and view portfolios, watchlists and screeners.

The example below shows the Mobile Experience’s home screen on a phone.

  1. The Choose Your Experience page is set to show 3 times on your mobile device before defaulting to the option you last picked, which should be “Mobile”.
  2. You can also go directly to the Mobile Experience via https://www.stockrover.com/mobile.

Desktop Experience

This is the full Stock Rover product available on desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones. However the desktop experience is not optimized for the phone. It is best used on devices with much larger screens. Note that some areas of functionality don’t render well and can’t effectively be utilized on a phone.

The example below shows the Desktop Experience on a tablet.

  1. The Choose Your Experience page is set to show 3 times on your mobile device before defaulting to the option you last picked, which should be “Desktop”.
  2. You can go directly to the Desktop Experience via https://www.stockrover.com/research.

Resetting your default Experience

If you would like to change your default Experience from Desktop to Mobile or vice versa you will need to log into the Choose Your Experience page https://www.stockrover.com/experience where you will be prompted for “Mobile” or “Desktop”.
