This week Stock Rover LLC unveiled version 6.0 of its investment research software, which features an improved user interface (UI) as well as a handful of new product elements and functions.
Two main elements of the updated UI are a customizable Start menu in the top left corner of the screen and a Quotes Box above the Navigation panel. Quotes replaces what was known as the Research Box in previous versions of Stock Rover. The Quotes Box allows users to optionally add tickers to the Table for comparison to any dataset, and it also functions as a quick reference for stock price information. Portfolios and watchlists can also be added to the Quotes Box.
The 6.0 UI also includes a revamped informational ticker tooltip, a more powerful Peers tab, a relocated Market Summary, a collapsible left-side panel, a reorganized Chart panel, and many other enhancements.
Portfolio Rebalancing is a completely new facility included in this release that allows users to enter desired portfolio allocations so that Stock Rover can calculate what trades would be necessary to rebalance the portfolio accordingly. Portfolio Rebalancing is a Premium-only feature.
