On May 30th, 2018, we will be implementing new and more flexible Stock Rover Membership Plans. There will be three paid plans, each with different capabilities and prices points, plus the free plan. Additionally each paid plan will have a monthly, yearly and two year option. The plans are:
The Free Plan is ideal for investors that are interested in market data, news, earnings calendar and investment ideas as well as basic single stock research.
The Essentials Plan is ideal for investors that want all of the above plus stock screening, portfolios, watchlists, investment comparison, brokerage integration and basic alerting.
The Premium Plan is ideal for investors who want all of the capabilities of the Essentials plan plus more historical data (10 years vs. 5 years) , ranked screening, the ability to screen on historical data and the ability to screen ETFs. The Premium plan also includes our Portfolio Analytics, Trade Planning and Rebalancing and Correlation Analysis facilities, more powerful alerting, more financial metrics, higher data limits, data export and multiple monitor support as well as a host of other goodies like notes and comments, color coded rows columns, user tagging and more.
The Premium Plus Plan is ideal for investors who want everything Stock Rover has to offer, including all of the above plus the use of user defined equations in screening, custom metrics in reporting, much higher data limits and our brand new and unique stock ratings facility. Stock ratings distills complex historical data into percentile performance grades for stocks vs. their peers in key areas such as growth, valuation, efficiency, financial strength, quality, dividends and momentum. An overall grade is rendered for each stock, making it easy to evaluate and compare different investment opportunities. The Premium Plus plan also includes prioritized support response.

If you are currently a premium user….
We have very good news for our premium users. If you are a current premium user, you will automatically be grandfathered into our new highest level plan (Premium Plus) at your current subscription rate, which is less than the new Premium Plus plan rate of $279.99/yr. Your grandfathered rate to Premium Plus will stay in effect forever, as long as you maintain your paid subscription continuously with Stock Rover.
If you like, you can also avail yourself of either of our two lower priced plans, Premium ($179.99/yr.) and Essentials ($79.99/yr.) if you want to move to a lower cost plan, you can do this by letting us know in advance of your renewal date. If you are currently a basic user….
Stock Rover has experienced substantial growth in our user base, for both the premium and basic (free) plans. Unfortunately commensurate with that, our data providers have dramatically increased our data licensing fees to the point where it is no longer possible for us to offer many of the basic capabilities of Stock Rover for free. There will still be a free Stock Rover Plan, however some of the key capabilities of Stock Rover that basic users have enjoyed will be moving behind the paywall. We wish we didn’t have to do this, but our desires and economic realities have diverged.
For basic users that want to remain basic users, there will still be free capabilities within Stock Rover including Quoting, Charting, The Stock Insight Panel, Markets, News, the Earning Calendar and the Ideas Panel. However the Table, Portfolios, Watchlists, Screeners and Brokerage Integration are all moving behind the paywall. Those capabilities will be available in our lowest price plan, Essentials, which is priced at $79.99 per year.
We realize this is less than optimum news for our basic users. Consequently we are going offer a special introductory price of $49.99 for the first year to current basic users who sign up for Essentials (normal price is $79.99). This introductory price will be available from May 30th to June 22nd only and will never be offered at this level again.
There is also 25% off the first year’s pricing available if you would like to sign up for either the Premium or Premium Plus plan. The Premium plan will cost, $134.99 (normally $179.99). The Premium Plus plan will cost $209.99 (normally $279.99). The details of all the Stock Rover plans are described on our plan compare page.
Deal Alert…
The above plan and prices go into effect on May 30th. However anyone who signs up for our Premium Plan before May 30th will automatically be grandfathered into the Premium Plus plan at a lifetime lower rate of $249.99 vs $279.99. And if you use the GOPREMIUM code, you will get an additional two months free in your first year of Stock Rover. So if you are thinking about signing up for Premium, now is a great time to do it.
